I use a billing company called Headway to assist with insurance payments. If you would like to use your insurance to pay for therapy, I will ask you to complete a profile with Headway before we begin.
If you would like to check your insurance benefits to see if therapy with me will be covered, please follow this link to Headway's insurance verification page:

If I do not accept your insurance, you may still be able to get partial to full reimbursement for your therapy costs through your insurance company. To find out if your insurance company has these benefits you will need to call your insurance company and ask the following questions:

- How much of my deductible has been met this year?
- What is my out-of-network deductible for outpatient mental health? (Outpatient means treatment outside a hospital.)
- What is my out-of-network coinsurance for outpatient mental health?
- Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
- How do I submit Super bill forms for reimbursement? (Super bills are forms that are sent to your insurance company to receive reimbursement for sessions you paid for out of pocket.)
Sliding scale
I want to offer services that are as affordable as possible. To do this, I offer a sliding scale for a portion of my clients. This allows me to balance my financial needs while honoring the need for accessibility of services. If you would like to pay on the sliding scale, please ask if I have openings to my sliding scale and we can find a rate that works for your current financial need. My sliding scale rates are $80-$125 for a 55-minute therapy session.
